Maple Bear Kyiv opened its doors in 2021. We welcome children aged 2 to 6 in four age groups:
- Senior Kindergarten (5-6 years old),
- Junior Kindergarten (4-5 years old),
- Nursery (3-4 years old),
- Toddlers (2-3 years old)
The Maple Bear Kyiv preschool teachers know how to unlock each child's potential. Through intellectual, physical, emotional, and social development, we help children identify their strengths and talents and feel like full participants in the educational process.
We teach students that communication and social skills are perhaps the most important skills for success in life, and knowledge becomes true knowledge when you know how to apply it. To achieve this, we create an educational space that encourages independent thinking, responsibility, participation in projects and experiments through immersion in the English language.
Children in our Kindergarten learn through two programs – the Canadian Maple Bear program and the Ukrainian "Dytyna" program. They learn about the cultures of other countries while learning to value their cultural heritage to strengthen their national identity. We aim for children to believe and feel that they are already building their own trampoline to make their dreams come true!
Kindergarten education at Maple Bear includes:
- Leading Canadian educational methods;
- Bilingual education;
- Comprehensive development;
- Safe educational environment (shelter, security, own building and territory with playgrounds and sports fields, video surveillance);
- Extracurricular activities – ballroom dancing, gymnastics, swimming (pool depth of 90 cm with a water temperature of 30 degrees), art studio.
The subjects of the Canadian Maple Bear program are Language Arts, Science, Mathematics, and Arts&Crafts. The Ukrainian program includes speech development, logical and mathematical thinking, literary treasury, "Me in the World," music and sports lessons.
Language immersion learning in Maple Bear network schools is aimed at deepening the study of the English language. This means that children learn to listen, speak, and interact in English in a supportive and nurturing environment.
